Household recycling Dundee

Check the exact centre before leaving home.

Ordinary cars do not require a household waste vehicle permit. Check the council’s live page for disruption or short-notice closures before travelling. Car-derived vans, vans, pickups and permitted single-axle trailers need a free household waste vehicle permit. Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, tipper vehicles and trade loads are not accepted.

Baldovie serves the east of Dundee and Riverside serves the west. Sort material before arrival and check which site accepts the item. A large mixed clearance may suit a skip better than multiple journeys, especially when the waste will be produced over several days.
