Household recycling Glasgow

Check the exact centre before leaving home.

Cars do not normally need an appointment, but temporary closures and access changes can happen. Check the council page before setting off. Resident vans are accepted only at stated sites and during restricted periods. Commercial and trade waste is not accepted through the household service.

Dawsholm is useful for the north-west and West End, Easter Queenslie for the north-east, and Polmadie for the south side. A tenement clearance, renovation or bulky mixed load can take several car journeys; a correctly sized skip may be simpler when there is a suitable placement.
